(NASDAQ: MRCY, www.mrcy.com), a leader in reliable and secure critical technologies for aerospace and defense, succeeds today demonstrated the Model 8256 Sensor Open Systems Architecture â„¢ (SOSA)-aligned development platform at the U.S. Army Technical Exchange Meeting – FACE â„¢ and SOSA, proving true heterogeneous interoperability with SOSA-aligned products from several suppliers. This Phase 2 platform features additional signal acquisition, time and frequency displays, and includes extensive system management capabilities.

This Model 8256 development platform consists of an Elma Electronic 3U VPX chassis, Crossfield Technology IPMI software and ChassisBerry chassis manager, Interface Concept (ComEth4590a) backplane switch module, Single Board Computer (SBC) TR H4C Concurrent Technology and a Mercury Quartz® Model 5550, an eight-channel OpenVPX 3U A / D and D / A converter card based on the Xilinx® Zynq® UltraScale + RFSoC, all aligned to the standard SOSA technique.
