Thunderbolt ™ 4 leverages the innovation of Thunderbolt ™ 3 technology to deliver a truly universal wired connectivity experience. Thunderbolt 4 delivers consistent 40 Gbps (Gigabits per second) connection speeds, allowing users to view simultaneously 5K video, transmit USB SuperSpeed data, and charge their computer via a Thunderbolt 4 (or USB4) cable. Interfaces include 2 Thunderbolt ™ 4 ports, a single DisplayPort, 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB Type-A ports. One of the Thunderbolt 4 ports can deliver up to 96 watts of power, so users can connect to the display and charge their computer without the need for a separate power cord.
