The University of Vincennes hosts a vaccine and COVID driving tests

With the continued increase in Covid-19 cases, the University of Vincennes wants to do its part to help slow the spread of the virus and protect those who are not vaccinated. They want to help people get vaccinated against COVID-19 in southwest Indiana by having easy and free access to tests and vaccinations.

In partnership with the Indiana Department of Health, National Guard, and the Gibson County Department of Health, the Vincennes University Gibson County Center, in Fort Branch, will host a free community drive for the vaccine and Covid testing. -19. The clinic will offer Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. PCR and rapid tests will also be available.

The temporary clinic is Sept. 21-25, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CDT) at Gibson County Center, 8100 US Highway 41.

If you are eligible, you do not need to live in Gibson County to get vaccinated or tested at the site. You are required to pre-register for a test or vaccine at https://www.coronavirus.in.gov, appointments are not necessary. The clinic is a drive-thru, so you will stay in your car and masks are mandatory.
