PC dead, BSOD, hard crash, not responding, unable to install and driver failures e

Hello everyone,

I’m here to ask for help with what I consider to be the most complex computer problems I have ever encountered to the point where I can no longer solve them on my own.

The problems that I am having with my PC vary extremely, from BSODs to no response, to problems installing drivers, with now for the first time not even a sign of life.

These issues have been occurring and persisting for a few years now and although I have swapped out almost all of the hardware components on my PC, they have never worked properly. Already.

There was always something wrong.

Let’s start with a list of all the components that were there and are there now.

Original version: (08/2019)

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX580 GAMING 8 GB

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Power supply: seasonal focus + gold FX550

MOBO: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M

RAM: HyperX Fury single DIMM 16 GB 3200 mhz cl18

CASE: HP Desktop Workstation Enclosure from circa 2012 (it was a dormant computer)

Hard drive: Seagate barracuda 1TB

SSD: Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB

Current version :

GPU: Inno3d Ichill GTX 1080Ti x3

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Power supply: PRIME GX-1000 seasonal

MOBO: Asus ROG X570-E Gaming

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32 GB (2×16) 3466mhz cl16

CASE: Corsair crystal 680x

Hard drive: Seagate barracuda 1TB, Western digital blue 2TB, 512GB 2.5 “hard drive from laptop

SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 2 TB, Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB

I haven’t collected the BSOD batch files yet if anyone needs them, so I can’t download them yet.

What I can do is give a detailed description of several symptoms that I have encountered:

-BSOD randomly, during startup, Windows updates, inactivity and while in use. These error codes include:

dpc watchdog violation

memory management

unhandled system thread exception

system service exception

page fault in non-paged area

IRQL not less than or equal

So basically the most common.

-Between pressing the on / off button on my case and the PC suddenly turning on, random delays varying from 0 to 10 seconds at most started.

-During startup, the PC sometimes hangs randomly with a beep before restarting.

-During the calculation of a random hard crash with restart.

-When you try to install the graphics drivers, Windows will automatically reset the drivers to default, causing the installation process to fail (ONLY WHQL DRIVERS)

-Pc BSOD when installing dedicated WLAN card drivers from CD (I’m guessing due to conflict with built-in wifi chip).

– Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I pressed the power button and nothing was happening at all. Completely dead.

-Artifacting under load, during mining and games. GPU power peaks under constant load.

– Random BSOD while installing Windows update causing operating system corruption, causing me to completely reinstall Windows

-Many many more issues that I can’t think of at the moment.

Now I can think of some things that I have tried before (and that didn’t work or worked for a short time):

-Check if the power supply is plugged in properly and the power supply is on XDDDDDDDDDD, I bet someone will say that in the comments, spare me please.

-Change of motherboard

-Ram change

-Switch box,

-Change of power supply unit,

-Change of Windows storage device,

– Disconnect storage devices to make sure that no broken hard drive or SSD is causing problems

-Reinstall Windows more than 10 times on 2 different SSDs and one of my hard drives.

-Make multiple drive formats and “clean everything” in CMD administrator mode.

-Change of GPU (RX580, 1080Ti, 1060, RX470) – does not relieve me of all symptoms.

-View the driver uninstaller for a clean install of new drivers

– Switching GPU display ports for monitor connection.

-Remove unnecessary USB devices from motherboard and case front panel

– BIOS update

-Windows update

-Update of all drivers possible via the device manager

– PC disassembly and reassembly

-Clear CMOS and change CMOS battery several times.

-Many more that I can’t think of right now than I have tried in the past few months.

I can understand if this is a very, very wide range of symptoms that probably have a wide variety of causes that aren’t even related to each other, but I can’t tell them apart anymore.

That’s why I decided to throw away anything I can think of as I really feel lost in the tunnel vision and I could use someone with a new set of eyes to judge the situation.

All I know is I’m running out of ideas and trying the same things over and over again in hopes that it will miraculously fix my computer.

Any help in any form is greatly appreciated and will be treated with the utmost seriousness.

Yours,

Simon
